Current and Forthcoming Titles

We again update the catalog to list all available and forthcoming titles.

The past few years have introduced some new processes; a few books were printed by offset and xerox, and some even were produced by a print-on-demand (POD) firm. But the principles of good craftsmanship and affordable prices are still foremost. What I wrote in the introduction to the first historical catalog still applies:

Timberline Press has been guided by a simple philosophy. First, select good writing to publish. . . . Then, present the writing in a book that is well designed and printed. . . . However, since I believe poets need audiences, the book should be reasonably priced.

The purpose of the catalog is to make fine poetic expression available to everyone at an affordable price. The volumes also may give readers insight into the one-man operation: most of the books are printed by hand using letterpress, in much the same way that Gutenberg did in the late fifteenth century, and then hand stitched and bound. I hope you find something that appeals to your poetic hunger.
